Contractor Fillercoat

CoverMaster is a low cost hi-cover contracter wall and ceiling filler coat. This functional, high-solids coating obliterates, levels and hides surface imperfections, giving a smooth matt finish that serves as the perfect intermediary coat on which to apply your desired topcoat.

CoverMaster is ideal for newly primed or previously painted interior and exterior walls requiring a quick-drying matt finish. This product is also an ideal top coat for interior ceiling boards. 

This product is water-based, low splatter and low-odour making it easy to apply and clean.

Cleaning

  • Read all instructions before use.

    Ensure all substrates are thoroughly clean, sound and free of any contaminants such as dirt, grease, salts, and algae. Repair any cracks on the surface and clean using Sparcolux Sugar Soap. 


    New Cement 

    New cements must be allowed to cure for a minimum 21 days. 


    Once sufficiently clean and dry, prime substrate with Sparcolux WB Plaster Primer or Sparcolux SB Plaster Primer. Refer and follow the directions per the primer used. 

    New plaster, gypsum plaster, fibre cement brick work

    Clean the substrate well and allow to dry. 


    Once sufficiently clean and dry, prime substrate with Sparcolux WB Plaster Primer or Sparcolux SB Plaster Primer. Refer and follow the directions per the primer used.

    Previously painted surfaces

    Remove algae, lichen, loose materials and flaking paint with a scrubbing brush or high pressure hose. Wash area with Sparcolux Sugar Soap. If required, apply an anti-fungal wash, then rinse with water. 


    Seal powdery surfaces with Sparcolux Keybond or with Sparcolux SB Plaster Primer. 


    Glossy surfaces should be gently sanded, cleaned and dried.
