APPLICATION INFORMATION – BONDING LIQUID +

Improves surface adhesion and abrasion resistance. Can be used to bond and seal loose, powdery plasters or on chalky, powdery previously-painted walls. 

USAGE PRECAUTIONS

Read all instructions before use. 

• Only apply to dry surfaces with a permanent moisture content less than 10%.
• New plaster or concrete surfaces must cure for a minimum of 21 days 
• Do not apply or use  in cold weather below 8°C or if imminent rainfall is expected. 
• In areas affected by heavy dew do not apply after 2pm
• Do not apply coating on contaminated or unsound surfaces as this will affect the adhesion.
• Keybond is not suitable as a final coat. 

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Remove all loose and flaking material. 
• Sand smooth high gloss surfaces. 
• Treat algae or fungi with a biocide cleaner. 
• Thoroughly clean any surface contaminants with Sparcolux Sugar Soap.
• Repair surface cracks, holes or damaged plaster with crack filler. 
  

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Shake product well before use. 
• Dilute two parts Keybond with one-part water and thoroughly mix.
• Apply with a block brush, thoroughly working product into all cracks and holes. 
• Allow 2 – 4 hours drying time

APPLICATION INFORMATION – PLASTER ADDITIVE +

Improves durability, adhesion properties and damp resistance.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Shake product well before use. 
• Dilute two parts Keybond with one-part water and thoroughly mix. 
• Only use with fresh moisture-free cement / plaster.
• Use clean tools and containers to apply and mix 
• Mix cement and sand first. 
• Diluted Keybond can be added directly to grouts, tile adhesive, gypsum plasters and mortars.
• Pour directly into the plaster mix as required. 
• Mix to a lump free, uniform consistency and apply. 
• Clean equipment
